Troubleshooting: Registration Visibility
If attendees are telling you they can't see registration options for your event, or a parent says duet options aren't appearing, the cause is almost always one of a few configuration issues. Here's how to diagnose it.
"Attendees can't see registration options"
Work through this checklist in order — the most common causes are at the top.
1. Are your registration forms published?
Registration forms have a status of "draft" by default. Only published forms are visible to attendees. If a form is still in draft, no one outside your admin team can see it.
Check: Go to your event date admin's Forms page and look at its current status.
2. Is there a matching division for the contestant's age? If applicable, is there a matching size division for the team?
Attendees will only see eligible divisions for the age/team size of their athlete, duet or team. If the athlete is 6 years old but the youngest age division offered for a discipline is 7-9, they won't see an option to select.
Similarly, if a team has 3 members but the smallest offered division size is 4-8, they won't be able to select a division.
In both cases, the solution is to add a division that meets their age/team size needs in the Disciplines admin for the given event. Reach out to Twirlmate support if you need help creating the necessary division.
3. Has the attendee created the athlete, duet or team?
Parents and coaches create athlete, duet, and team profiles during the account setup process. If they're trying to register a duet or team, but don't see any profiles to select, they haven't created them under their account yet.
