How many athletes can I have related to my account?
You may have an unlimited number of athletes.
How many duets and trios can I have related to my account?
You may have an unlimited number of duets and trios.
How many teams and groups can I have related to my account?
You may have an unlimited number of teams and groups.
What's the difference between a team and a group?
A team competes in a competition event and is usually a subset of twirlers that belong to a larger group. You can also think of groups as studios or clubs.
What's a student/coach connection?
In order to avoid conflicts of interest during competition, it is important to know which athletes are students of which coaches. By "connecting" with their coach(es), twirlers can signal that information in the system. Twirls and coaches can have unlimited connections between each other.
What is the surcharge for online registration?
For every registration, Bronze subscribers will pay an additional 5% of the total entry amount as a surcharge. This fee is capped at $10. Silver and Gold subcribers will not pay any additional fees for any entries.
What are forums?
Twirlmate will soon offer online forums for community members to ask questions and share twirling-related information. Bronze subscribers can read this information but not ask questions or comment. Silver and Gold subscribers may ask questions, comment, and upvote/downvote answers *. *coming soon
What will the monthly newsletter include?
The monthly newsletter will include custom blog posts/articles related to twirling, promotional deals from baton twirling vendors, and announcements of upcoming registration deadlines.
What's a practice log?
The practice log feature* will provide athletes with a structured way to record and measure their progress throughout the season (e.g., routine times, drops, breaks, etc). *coming soon
What's win tracking?
Many organizations enforce "advancement rules", where an athlete must progress to a higher skill level after winning a certain number of times at their current level. Twirlmate will help athletes, parents, and coaches keep track of this information automatically*. *coming soon
What are exclusive resources?
Twirlmate provides the baton community with a variety of helpful guides and toolkits. Some of these will only be available to Silver and Gold subscribers.
How can I sell products with Twirlmate?
Twirlmate will provide vendors the option to sell their items directly through the site (e.g., shirts, costumes, stickers, etc)*. *coming soon
What is results sharing?
Silver and Gold subcribers will be able to share their contest scores (and eventually scoresheet comments) with coaches.
