2024 NBTC Shopping Guide

Welcome to the 2024 Twirlmate Shopping Guide for the National Baton Twirling Championships in South Bend, Indiana. The following vendors will have physical pop-up stores where you can shop till you drop all week long. From twirling-themed shirts and apparel, to dazzling costumes, to stickers and jewelry, there’s something for every baton twirling athlete, coach, or fan.

The Black Baton Twirlers Network (BBTN) is a non-profit dedicated to increasing participation of black baton twirlers and cultivating an inclusive community within our sport. They do so by supporting athletes of color to become coaches or judges, promoting businesses that are inclusive of black baton twirlers, showcasing black twirlers at events, and collaborating with allies to expand cultural awareness in the sport.

Whether you’re a person of color or not, everyone is welcome in the BBTN! You can show your support by donating online, becoming a member, or visiting their pop-up store at the Clover Hotel Monday through Thursday July 15-18.

Catch This! makes fun and stylish apparel by twirlers, for twirlers. Their custom t-shirts, title tanks, jackets, and schoolwear are for athletes, coaches, and parents alike. Their pop-up location will feature assorted designs, their official National Baton Twirling Championships tank, and towels.

Only Twirlers features a fabulous line of twirling apparel and accessories: practice wear to shout your love for baton, stickers to leave your twirling mark on the world, and towels that will give you the pep talk you need before taking the floor. Their commemorative National Baton Twirling Championship tee is also a must-have! They’ll be at the Hilton Garden Inn Monday through Thursday, July 14-18.

Several “twirlebrities” such as the reigning College Miss Majorette of America Gabby Steed (University of Maryland) and Grand National Twirling Champion Ella McDaniel will also be making appearances at select times for autographs and photos! Stay tuned for dates and times.

Show-Off Inc is a well-established costume design and production shop. Their designs are unique, elegant, and will catch the audience’s eye from the competition floor. They are “your partners in bringing out the beautiful, confident you!”

They made the University of Michigan Twirler costumes when I was twirling in college. The uniforms were so pretty and professionally done!

Twirling 2 Fight Cancer is a non-profit that fosters strength for breast cancer survivors and victims through twirling. Created by coach and judge John Mitchell after his mother was diagnosed in 2011, the organization aims to spread understanding and awareness of the disease. You can support their mission by visiting their pop-up shop at the Clover Hotel Tuesday through Friday, July 15 - 18.

Twirlmate is an online hub for the sport of baton twirling. But more than just a website, it’s a place to build community, keep track of all your twirling-related information, and stay up to date with what’s happening in the sport.

Located inside Gorgeous Twirling Costumes’ pop-up store at Homewood Suites Sunday through Thursday, July 13-18, Twirlmate will be selling commemorative Taylor Swift-inspired baton twirling bracelets, aka Twirler Swift swag! Global Baton Company

Global Baton Company sells “your favorite baton products from various manufacturers”. From equipment (batons, caps, and ends), to shoes, novelty items, and more, they’re a go-to source to replenish essential twirling supplies.

Kenerly Kreations

Kenerly Kreations makes beautiful custom twirling costumes that radiate elegance, style, and class. Costumes may be purchased finished (with rhinestones) or unfinished (without rhinestones). The company is led by Heather Armfield, who possesses over 20 years of experience and passion for pageants, modeling, and helping twirlers look and feel their best.

Starline Baton

Starline Baton also sells a variety of twirling necessities, such as batons, shoes, cases, and novelty equipment (like the Lumina Twirl Baton!). They cater to members of the color guard and cheerleading community as well.

Sweet P Doll Studio

Sweet P Doll Studio makes adorable custom 13” or 18” dolls that are the perfect friend or mini duet partner for your twirler. You can find them on Facebook.

Twirl Planet

Twirl Planet sells batons from a variety of brands (Sharp, Starline, etc), instructional twirling videos, dance/ribbon supplies, and other novelty items such as fire batons.
