Any performance not falling under one of other categories may enter “Miscellaneous Dance” – no additional categories will be added. Beginner is defined as one who has not won more than five 1st places in that event, hence a performer may be Beginner in Jazz, but Advanced in Tap, etc. The following categories are used for scoring (20 points each): - Difficulty & Originality of Material - Music Interpretation/ General Effect - Stage Presence/Showmanship - Technique - Execution
