What You'll Do

  • Demonstrate Twirlmate's value to the baton community by assembling a rich, comprehensive catalog of twirling opportunities and groups

  • Keep the catalog up-to-date as new events are announced or changes are made to existing listings

  • Network with baton twirling event organizers and other leaders in the sport

  • Collaborate with Twirlmate leadership and fellow interns to share Twirlmate content across social media channels


Who We Are

Twirlmate is your partner in baton twirling events, groups, analytics and resources. Our mission is to grow the sport of baton twirling by celebrating all organizations. We also seek to support all members of the twirling community: athletes, parents, coaches, judges, vendors, and organization administrators.


Responsibilities

  • Spend 2-3 hours/week collecting and digitizing data such as save-the-date or registration deadline announcements for contests, camps, clinics, and classes.

  • Maintain Twirlmate's detailed and organized database to ensure data entries are complete and accurate.

  • Address data inconsistencies by working with administrative staff to locate missing data or fix bugs in the system

  • Adhere to best data management practices and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in curating and working with data

  • Experience with or interest in learning Excel/Google Spreadsheets

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members

  • Excellent typing skills and experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

Compensation
